Per Eleanor Terrett, a notable journalist, XRP ETFs may receive a critical update or approvals at large by this Thursday. Terrett took to X to share this crucial update. While talking about it briefly on social media, Terrett referenced an ETF table uploaded by Bloomberg’s James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas on X. The table comprised a list of ETFs pending under the US SEC’s leadership, which are due for approvals under the organization’s watchful eyes.
While referencing the table shared by Seyffart and Balchunas, Terrett stated that the US SEC may “acknowledge” Grayscale’s XRP ETF application as early as Thursday this week. She later dropped a critical observation, adding how the SEC usually takes around 15 days to acknowledge a 19-4b filing.
“As per this very helpful table from @JSeyff and @EricBalchunas, we could see the @SECGov acknowledge @Grayscale’s $XRP spot ETF filing as early as Thursday (2/13), if indeed it chooses to acknowledge it. The SEC usually has around 15 days to acknowledge a 19b-4 filing, and Grayscale filed their conversion application on January 30th. Either way, it should give us a good idea of how the current @SECGov commission is thinking about $XRP.”

Which ETF Will Be Approved First?
Among the credible buzz that the plethora of ETF filings has been making as of late, Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart of Bloomberg shared their thoughts about which ETF may avail the SEC’s approval first. Taking the discussion on X, Seyffart shared how SEC may first focus on Litecoin, Solana, XRP, and Doge for now.
“NEW: @EricBalchunas and I took a look at the filings for spot crypto ETFs. We’re putting out relatively high odds of approval across the board. Mainly focused on Litecoin, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin for now.”
